And it is little and light - perfect size to put in your purse or pocket. This is my second Olympus and I really like it - it has tons of great features! I'm not great with technology by any means, but I figured this camera out quickly, and have taken some great pictures. The large viewing screen is great - compared to my old Stylus 410 with a quarter sized screen. I have had no issues with glare or poor pictrue quality. The Olympus software was very easy to load onto my compture and is very easy to use to edit photos! I would recomend this camera !

Since the introduction of the first single-lens reflex (SLR) camera, photographers have prized SLRs because they can see with the naked eye, through an optical viewfinder, exactly what is passing through the camera's lens. The "reflex" of a mirrored shutter that bends light to the camera's viewfinder, and then snaps open rapidly to create exposures, makes this possible and gives the SLR its advantage. But this SLR advantage, while delivering high-performance speed and accuracy, has one drawback in the digital age. Because the image sensor is blocked by the mirror and shutter until the moment the shutter button is pressed, the mirror and shutter mechanism prevents a traditional digital SLR from viewing and composing a photo using only the camera's Liquid Crystal Display as a viewfinder.

A new camera won't make you a better photographer, but taking more pictures might, and that's where the E-330 shines. It's rewarding to use and the tilting LCD with live view encourages experimentation. The E-330 feels solid and all the buttons are well-placed. Image quality is generally excellent, although there are better cameras for low-light, flashless photography. Focus, frame rate and overall performance is plenty fast for action at my son's soccer games, but USB file transfer is slow so get an external card reader. Do not underestimate the usefulness of dual-mode live view on a tilting LCD. You won't think it's a gimmick once you have it. Also, the E-330's built-in flash can be used for fill-in with a shoe-mounted flash; another feature that's proven to be much more useful than expected.

I bought this camera for my husband after his Olympus stylus (820 I think) was stolen from me. Feeling guilty, I wanted to purchase him something that was similar yet updated. In getting the 1200 model, I was pleased, but his only complaint was that it is not possible to view pictures without extending the camera lens. As in, viewing through the display with out turning on the camera as he could with his older model.If anybody knows how to activate this feature, let me know! Otherwise I love all of the fun features and the picture quality is great! Also, I'm glad that I purchased the XD card, its a very cool(yet needed) toy. My only complaint was with the postal service, they delivered both products, but by means of knocking on the door and leaving the package on the doorstep and didn't wait at all for him to answer the door. Thankfully my husband was home to receive the package and wasn't at work, cause there's really no telling if it would have been there when I got home. I suspect others simply weren't familiar with the controls, or purchased faulty cameras. For what the camera is for, I give it top marks. It's extremely small, in fact so tiny I'm afraid I'm going to drop it. The complaint that it doesn't take good pictures indoors just doesn't fly. It is possible to change the ISO as well as the exposure, and I have gotten fine pictures both outdoors at night and in a dark, fire lit room. The complaint that it shoots slowly is also user error. By holding the shutter button down halfway, you set the focus and exposure. Then when you push it the rest of the way it takes the image almost instantly. So people need to learn how to use their cameras. I found the user manual simple to read and understand. The USB cable is a bit tricky to insert into the camera, but certainly not worth mentioning, or knocking the camera for. I found it to transfer images to the computer at least as fast as my other two cameras. So I really like this unit. It has all the features you could want in a camera so portable, in fact I was surprised. I like the large size of the display, and the ability to brighten it.

I bought this binocular primarily football games. I find this binocular almost perfect of this purpose. They are compact and come with a case you can use with a belt. The 8x25 power and view is, for me, just right for football, providing enough power to see the action close-up while the field of view is wide enough to see a good portion of the field. They are also good for general use where medium power must be balanced with field of view. The quality of the product is very, very good and I am most satisfied with them.

While I knew there were trade-offs to this camera, namely slightly less megapixels, a weaker zoom (the biggest trade-off), and less bells and whistles than similarly priced camera's, to me the shock/water/sand-proof nature of the camera far outweighs any drawbacks. I got to experience this first hand on the camera's first major test - a two week spring break that involved everything from skiing to camping. This camera was dropped off a ski lift into the snow below and still kept going (and the black color made it simple to find the thing!). It survived a dunk in the hot tub as well as a dusty campsite. I bought the E510 outfit and couldn't be happier!! This is an awesome camera, (thank you Olympus), and with all that came in the kit, I had everything I needed for great holiday pictures!! My husband was even impressed with the feel and action of the camera. He only uses manual filmed 35mm and I have been using a point and shoot digital Olympus camera since 1998. This camera allows my husband to do everything he wants manually and allows me to select a scene or go auto and click away!!

I have done much research and reading on this camera before pulling the trigger and I'm very happy with decision so far - coming from an P/S camera - this camera does required some time to know all of the many features that this camera has - but once you have that "right settings for your shots" - the pictures will be amazing.
